Mercury Glass Pedestal Bowl
The art of silvering glass dates back to the 19th century, and we found a creative glassworks that still uses the traditional process to craft exquisite pieces like this pedestal serving bowl. The thick glass is "silvered" underneath with silver nitrate liquid for an antiqued finish that’s rich with visual interest and dimension. It’s food-safe for skinned fruit (apples, oranges or gourds), wonderful for colorful ornaments or dry arrangements. Imported.
