Marble inlay plate - Royal Muse - NOVICA
Crafted of fine Makrana marble, this decorative plate results from two different Indian arts. Its floral center is defined by intricate jali, or cutout work. Lavish blossoms come to life through marble inlay of the kind seen in the regal Taj Mahal. Transforming lapis lazuli and reconstituted turquoise into rich blue petals, Imran adds fiery jasper and carnelian along with deep green malachite. He uses approximately 858 individual stones in this masterful work of art. It is displayed on a sheesham wood stand. Please note that once carved, marble may progressively change its original hue from pristine white to ivory.

On this beautiful soft multi colored twine (soft red, soft blue, cream and light celery green), I have added little hang tags, measuring 2 inches by 2 inches each, manila 110lb cardstock, stamped with stars and hand aged the edges...
