Horror/Suspense - The Lost Boys R (MPAA) / Warner Home Video / DVD
The Lost Boys is a classic 80's vampire flick about two young boys who move to California and end up fighting a gang of teenage vampires. A several years ago I watched it for the first time (in spite of being a child of the 80s!) with my then-date, this film made me feel nostalgic because I grew up watching Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, Jason Patric, and Kiefer Sutherland.

This is not the soundtrack to the movie but a great CD from the Living Legends hip-hop crew. If you are a fan of true hip-hop then you would most definitely like this CD.

If you like a jazzy sound combined with hip hop vocals then check out the Sound Providers. The song with Asheru is the best on the CD although there are plenty of good tracks throughout.

If you haven't heard Robert Randolph and the Family Band then check them out. They are a funky, rock, jazzy, soul band and they perform great live.

Akrobatik has been in the rap game for a while and consistently flows well. This album features Little Brother, Talib Kweli and Chuck D. among others.

Jason Lytle outdoes himself both on the sounds and songwriting put to tape on Sumday. To be fair, I like everything Grandaddy has done but I find this album great all the way through.
