The system was based on a number of units of measurement related to the human body, which he harmonised and arranged within two infinitely expandable series of Fibonacci numbers. Published in 1950, the Modulor was first used comprehensively in the planning of the Unité d'Habitation in Marseille (1945-52), an icon of modern residential architecture. Presented in a round aluminium box with a certificate of authenticity, this genuine reproduction of the "Modulor" makes the perfect gift for any architect. Even though I live in L.A. and I would never wear this badge, I can imagine it would be useful for commuters in cities with public transportation.
