Dwellbaby Animal Cushion - Robin Elephant

Dwellbaby Animal Cushion - Robin Elephant

Some animals are not well-shaped to become kids' toys. Something about, say, beetles and eagles just isn't right for conversion into children's items. The silhouettes are too complicated, or too regular, or too...something. Giraffes and elephants, though, and pigs, illustrate the kind of animal-outline whimsy that kids are often drawn to. Blow 'em up to 20 inches in the long direction and make cushions out of 'em with Dwell prints (in colorways of either pink, pear, and chocolate or chocolate, white, and pale blue), and suddenly you've got clean, comfortable, indoor-friendly versions of interesting outdoor animals. Your kids will want to hug them for years.

With nearly every cool baby product, I always wonder why they don’t have a grown up version?!...and Oeuf’s Two Tone and Quilted Baby Loungers made the list. Imagine buckling up, kicking back and bouncing to your heart's content on your adult sized baby lounger. I think it would either be hours of bliss or would put me to sleep in minutes...both the desired outcomes of the product, right?! Lucky babies.

When I was born, I don’t think the notion of wrapping me in clothes decked out with bright and bold Fauna style animal prints would have even crossed my mother’s mind. Not even in the least bit. Maybe sweet baby bears and ducks, yes. Not vivid replicas of a real squirrel, elephant or sea turtle. Oh, no. Kids these days…so lucky!

I have a new nephew/niece on the way out so I am on the hunt for something new. I kind of have a feeling the little critter is a boy so I have nicknamed him Winston. Wouldn’t Winston look wise, witty, let alone wonderful in an Owl Coverall? Match his coverall with a Raccoon cotton/cashmere blanket and I think this sweet boy is set (for a few months at least!).

What makes this special ability even more amazing is that 1.) I don’t have kids 2.) I don’t have the itch to have kids any time soon and 3.) I don’t have an eye for any other type of stroller. I have no idea where this ability came from, but ever since the special skill began I have been prone to letting all friends and family around me know that a Bugaboo stroller is within a mile radius of me, whether they have interest or not. I guess spotting a Bugaboo stroller is like eying your favorite type of car, or bike or jeans. Speaking of jeans…how about a Bugaboo stroller in denim! Yes, you heard me correctly. Denim!

DwellStudio Baby has just added a mass of new designs to their baby collection. I am not really sure where to begin with their impressive new pieces…from travel bags to diaper totes to zippered bags to interactive toys to bib and burp sets to blankets to bottle holders, to (of course) new crib bedding! I have already made a list of the few items I want to get for my soon to be new niece/nephew and I picked out a weekender bag or two for myself to convert into a photographer’s carryall. The prints are brilliant, the sets are amazing, and I want to play with their interactive toys.
