I am a big fan of layered pendant lamps so his Dexter Pendant Lamp does a number for me. As with all of his pieces, I have to simmer down take a deep breath. Thomas Paul is such a master of color! »

Of all my favourites this tall drum pendant lamp still stands out as the most interesting and simple way to add a modern touch to a dark corner. Lighting can really change the mood and impression of a room and what a way to really emphasize it! The only problem is that I can't decide between the blue or the red! »

When I first saw his pillows I had over a handful of favorites to don my sofa. Then I saw his rugs and imagined covering all of my floor space with pieces. If that was the case no hardwood would be seen! Now I imagine moving upwards and illuminating my ceilings and tables with his lighting collection. From my top ten list of lighting favorites I think one of my chief picks is the Louis II Floor Lamp, or maybe I might prefer the Gus Table Lamp, actually the Wide Drum Pendant is awesome, and then of course I can’t leave out the Ting Table Lamp. Ok, so again I can’t make up my mind. »

Their Ghost Collection plays tricks with my brain because I see their pieces in two very different ways: 1.) In one sense, the forms of their shades remind me of the mysterious and unknown creatures floating around in the deep dark depth of the sea. Those of us above water rarely get to glimpse their odd yet practical shapes. 2.) In another sense, their pieces are the quintessential portrayal of glam, minimalism, and style. I go back and forth with which idea I like more…elegant and sophisticated or mysterious and sea creature-esque. »

The new TwistTogether Lamps by the TwistTogether Company appears to me to be a modern day version of a Lite Brite, Rubik’s Cube, and Mondrian painting all mixed together to form a very clever and distinctive lamp. I appreciate that these can be kid friendly, but I think it is just as significant that these are adult friendly too! I particularly enjoy the Chocolate Set with its rich classic, 50’s-ish yet modern vibe. If you have not yet seen how these lamps can be twisted together, I would highly suggest viewing the footage of a lamp in action. »
