I never thought I would say this, but because ferm LIVING has so many clever wallpaper prints, I am actually ecstatic that wallpaper is making a comeback. I am genuinely ecstatic. I have strong recollections of the wallpaper my parents used to coat our home in the early 80’s, and it wasn’t pretty (aka very negative associations of wallpaper from a young age). Now I feel like I have "seen the light" and view wallpaper really as its own form of art. This sparks in me serious cravings to attempt to cover my walls. If only I wasn’t renting and was allowed to do as I pleased with my walls. If only.

This wallpaper is filled with "frames" on it. Put pictures, artwork, kids drawing or anything else in them. If you're super artsy, just paint your own stuff.

With the resurgence of amazing wallpaper options I feel a little overwhelmed with all the possibilities out there, but at the same time I am also glued (haha) to what Graham and Brown have to offer and how they showcase their diff... With the resurgence of amazing wallpaper options I feel a little overwhelmed with all the possibilities out there, but at the same time I am also glued (haha) to what Graham and Brown have to offer and how they showcase their different paper options.The more I see how people add such character to their walls by way of wallpaper the closer I am getting to dipping into trying it for myself. Give me a few more months and I betcha I’ll attempt it!

The Cavern Home Navajo Wallpaper makes me want to share a story: This past weekend I was home in the 100 degree dry Colorado heat and all I could think about was the longing for rain. The solution: teach your 2.5 year old niece how to do a makeshift rain dance. We danced our hearts out then ran outside. It took a few minutes but lo and behold it started to rain huge refreshing drops. We spent the next hour running around in the rain getting absolutely drenched. Now that I see the Cavern Home Navajo Wallpaper I feel inclined to buy a roll and make it into some fun wall art to commemorate our rain creating experience.

I have to say that I was thinking people were nuts to bring wallpaper back into style until I saw what they were doing. This Mibo Clacket Lane Wallpaper for example, is so pretty and simple that I would slap it on any wall any day... Since wallpaper is back, it has come back with full sleek and design. This particular piece of Twenty2 Dixon, is particularly beautiful and hardly resembles wallpaper.

You may have seen my space which I entered in the Apartment Therapy’s Cool Small contest (not cool enough to win, unfortunately). The place is has a ton of character, but it needs a little something extra on the super white walls. The answer has come to me, thank you very much, Graham and Brown…texture! Without a doubt I am a corduory person, but I may need even more spice than that…how about the small squares or jazz?
