Brave Space Design's Coat Range
Not only would this Mountain Coat Range from Brave Space be a favorite of Bob Ross, John Denver and Grizzly Adams it would also be the grand focal point in the teeny tiny apartment of Ali from Design Public. Living in the bay area is great, no doubt, but I do miss the majestic Rocky Mountains after living in Colorado for so many years. Although the mountain peaks are intended to symbolize the Grand Tetons, I can see my good ol’ Rockies in the rack. If only we had to wear lots of coats, mittens, hats and scarves in California.

Joe Futschik, designer and owner of jefdesigns, has released a special edition silkscreen image in honor of his mother who died earlier this year from ovarian cancer. I feel like it is rare for a day to pass by without hearing about someone who has developed or is struggling with cancer. I am sure I could count a good handful or more of my own close friends or family who have fought the disease, and with each person I think it is utterly important to recognize and honor what they have gone through, a celebration in some form that immortalizes their character. Simply stated, I find Joe's tribute to his mother awe inspiring and beautiful. 50% of all sales of the jefdesigns Screen Printed Wood Art Panel- Fritillaria will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
