Sugar Lip Treatment: Fresh
If you love lemon cookies (and all things lemony in general) then this is the lip product for you! This lip treatment is incredibly yummy, and yes does taste like lemon drop cookies. I found that this is best for morning use as a base for lip color to keep lips hydrated (those of you with very dry lips will need to apply to more frequently however—which is not necessarily a bad thing since it’s so heavenly tasting!). In addition it has a neat metal shape(it’s a bit hefty in weight) and that means it was easy to find in my bag. I love that the heavy duty twist on cap prevents debris or dust from collecting around the cap. It coated my lips with a protective layer that made them perfectly soft AND it has the SPF, which is a must! This is a lip moisturizer for when you want to treat yourself and smile every time you take it out of your bag. Note: For a great weekly lip treatment I would exfoliate with a washcloth and then apply a thick layer of the treatment before bed for super soft and luscious lips in the AM!

Fresh Citron de Vigne has as lovely a story as I've ever heard. The scent was inspired by Veuve Clicquot's Grande Dame Champagne (one of my all time favorite Veuve's!). Alina Roytberg, co-founder of Fresh, was invited to Reims, France for a tour of the grounds. It was there where she fell in love with the aroma of the grapes, and vines in the vineyards themselves. When she returned, she and partner Lev Glazman captured her memories in this fragrance. This is a scent that actually uses some of the elements of champgne in it's mix. The heart is a pinot noir accord, which is mixed with neroli, bitter orange, pink grapefruit, sandalwood, jasmine tea leaves, lemongrass, pachouli and amber. Upon my first spray, my nose was "prickeled" with this this bold, piercing blend of citrus notes - grapefruit and lemongrass, mixed with the neroli and orange. This opening combination did, in fact, give me a distinct impression of "fresh grapes" which are a little woody, a little green, and sometimes a little tart (as opposed to a "wine" scent). The remainder of the scent was just as lovely. The pinot noir heart was lovely mingling with the sandalwood, amber and patchouli. This is a perfect scent for spring/summer and could just as easily be unisex, which is another bonus. The staying power I would describe as medium, meaning that after about 3-4 hours this will wear a little thin, but it's so lovely I didn't mind reapplying. Fragrance Notes: Neroli, Bitter Orange, Pink Grapefruit, Pinot Noir Accord, Jasmine Tea Leaves, Lemongrass, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Amber.

This thick, hydrating cream made my skin feel extremely soft & supple in the morning, after I had applied before bed. This cream is extremely thick, so I only need a small amount each time. Note: Start with less and add more if you need it, as I noticed that when I put too much on at first it actually made my skin greasy. It’s also very important that you warm it up in your hands before you apply it or else it won't spread on the skin. I also loved the fragrance, which was a very unique tea type of scent (like Earl Grey!). The results of using this week after week were just fantastic. I found that it gave my skin the type of intense hydration it needed, while also plumping and soothing my skin. I also got a lovely glow to my skin, and did not irritate my more oily parts in the t zone. I looked forward to my nightly cleansing ritual because I felt like I was really pampering myself with this crème. Only a tiny bit of Creme Ancienne is needed, so this luxury product really does pay for itself as it will last for at least 6 - 8+ months, if not more. On drier/colder days I would also use this as a day cream under my makeup and despite its really thick texture, it soaked in beautifully. This is the most amazing skin care product that Fresh has ever created.
