Rhodia Essential Box
What a great way to start off on the Rhodia habit, or what a great gift! These little pads belong to the soft-cover version of the Moleskine cult. The familiar orange design with two fir trees has remained unchanged since the 1930s. Its just perfect! Each box is priced very nicely and includes a variety of pad sizes and some pencils in a Rhodia box. Way worth it. Made in France, of course

Another mid-century modern classic, the Aeron chair never goes out of style. As they are typically seen in black, i think this taupey color is a unique take. I would use one as an occasional chair in the living room.

I'll admit it, I'm kind of a pen snob. That is, it annoys the hell out of me to write with a pen that I don't like. I use to exclusively use Bic and recently, I've upgraded. i think this would be the perfect next step.

Really, really substantial piece of equipment...and way more stylish than those ubiquitous black plastic tape dispensers. It seems like something you'd find in the foreman's office in a 1940s wartime aviation plant.
