(Okay okay, so we have ski fields, just my parents were more summer beach types.) Anyhow, the cord loops around in one piece, joining the two earflaps. So you can loop it around your neck a couple of times, and sling the beanie back like a hoodie, or let the cords hang low in front like an anorexic scarf.
