The Brooke (a tiny ocean)

The Brooke (a tiny ocean)

The Brooke has that lilting fragrance that I occasionally hear on radio while driving, you know, how it is, a spacial sound finally comes on that favorite collage station, you cant wait for the DJ to tell you who it was, and it's an hour later after announcing everything but the track names when the DJ finally says something cryptic like "...oh and there was a cover of "Little Red Riding Hood in there by The Brook, downloaded from the internet..."!!? The Brooke is that sort of thing. I'm happy to have found her-- Cheerios and Good Tidings to you all, and to all a Good Night.

  • It was this album that changed my mind about The Horrors. Keep up the good work guys.

Some of the songs have found their way in to Hit's collections, but I have to say that as a album "Heaven Up Here" one is better when listened to intact. Most of the songs have a dark urgent sound (which I like), yet like the music of the Rolling Stones the songs on "Heaven Up Here" are as loose as a house of cards which could fall at any moment, I think that kind of fragility makes the music on this recording more interesting to listen to than Echo's resent compositions.

  • I'd love to learn and sing Bunnymen songs.

  • I had a fear of bunnies after this movie but sooo worth it.
