Of Montreal makes crazy, sample heavy, gorgeous pop music. The lyrics are fascinating and literary, and the music is dance-able and catchy. "Heimdalsgate Like A Promethean Curse" is probably one of my favorite songs and song titles of all time.

Duh, this movie is ancient history now. The soundtrack, had little traction past the initial hype anyways. However, I think it does deserve a nod. I mean, it really is a collection of 19 really fun songs.

A really rough and raw album that plays very easily. It's a very politically minded EP, all the songs definitely have an agenda to them, but this has never been a band to shy away from having a position to stand behind.

That's my current feeling about Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. So if you like this album, and you should, because it's got some super-great songs on it, like "Under the Hedge", and "Timorous Me" (two of my all-time fav of their songs), you need to go see them live so you can fully appreciate how amazing they really are. But if that's not an option, than sit down and revel in this album, and Shake the Sheets, and be happy that you have such great taste in music.

Great pop song. It's catchy and infectious, just like it ought to be, with a good hook. It's got a good sing-along chorus and the beat is stirring. Wonderful summer pop song.

Really great, catchy pop song. Still a slightly off kilter, strange tune with interesting melody and fun pop sensibility. This is definitely the biggest hit that they had, and the catchiest tune that they wrote.

A really good, catchy album from a band that never did get its due. They're mostly an acoustic affair, tending to the indie pop side of things, and the lyrics are witty. Key tracks "Fear of Falling", and "Gwendolin".

There are certain songs that bring you right back to a particular time or place. This is one of those songs for me. There's a mellow sadness to the song, but it's not maudlin. A great song that stands the test of time well.

I have a bi-polar relationship with this album. I loved it at first, the catchy songs that get stuck in your head, the particularly British view of life. Then I listened to "Move on Now", which I never liked as much, since it varies in tone so much from the rest of the album, but it reminded me that there's more than just hooky choruses here.

Nice, atmospheric album. The sound is almost spooky, definitely a very open sound. Very calming sound, and the singer's pretty voice pairs well with the sparse guitars.
