Piaggio MP3 Scooter
While the Vespa has recently seen a resurgence in popularity in crowded urban areas I have to say I'm more of a fan of its new sibling, the Piaggio MP3. Like the original Vespa the MP3 is compact and small which makes navigating crowded streets and finding a parking space a lot easier than with a car. But unlike the Vespa the Piaggio MP3 has a unique three wheeled design. It almost looks like a tricycle going backwards since it uses two wheels in the front to allow for greater stability and balance particularly when cornering. While the Vespa may turn a few heads the Piaggio MP3 will probably result in confused stares.

If you can afford an electric bike, this is a really good one! It is super chic looking and has an electric motor to help you up those nagging hills. Make sure to buy a nice lock to boot. This is a hot commodity!

This bike goes 20 miles an hour (!) which is great for quick trips -- safe enough to ride on a main street or a side street. And it's only $169 at Amazon!
