I remember when camera's with these features were 4 times the size!

This device might be very small at 55mm x 13mm x 22mm, but it is no slouch when it comes to performance, shooting photos in 1,280 x 1,200 resolution courtesy of its 2-megapixel CMOS sensor alongside the ability to capture video in QVGA resolution, albeit at a paltry 8 fps. You can also use microSD memory cards to further augment the SQ28m's performance. The Flip Video may be pocket-sized and ludicrously easy to use, but it's got nothing on Exemode's SQ28m Pocket Digital Camera when it comes to charm. This thing is small enough to fit on a keychain and, though the footage is recorded at a mere 320 x 240 and 8fps without audio, the inclusion of a number of color filters make results look more "retro 8mm" than "cheap digital".

Dining out means the camera has to do well under low(er) light and be small and compact enough to carry around. For 12.1mp AND an HD VIDEO CAM!!! it is the tiniest camera i've seen, which means it can fit into an evening clutch on your next cocktail party events in the pocket of your boy's jeans when you're traipsing through the county fair, or in (god forbid) a fanny pack) when you're at the hollywood bowl (i may or may not have ever work a fanny pack tot he hollywood bowl). Incidentally, I have owned canon powershot series digital cameras for as long as i've been using digital cameras and when my last one, canon sd1000 finally had a breakdown, i thought maybe it was time to "graduate" to a digital SLR, but after deep, deliberate, careful consideration of about two minutes, I tossed the ides asking "why?" unless you plan to go semi pro with your photography, you can take good enough pictures with a compact, point-nshoot. you just have to learn how to use the meanual settings, which takes all of about 15 minutes, as opposed to learning how to use a digital slr, which takes years. LOVE. THIS. CAMERA. (and i got it on MAD SALE at amazon for just over $200)
