The 80's turned out some amazing cult classic fantasy films. Like Ice Pirates! You can't go wrong with a rag tag band of space pirates. Throw in a princess and you've got awesome.

I was surprised that I really liked this movie. I think I wanted to hate it since Ben Affleck directed it. Its about a private detective hired to investigate the case of a missing child in his neighborhood. The P.I. (Affleck) butt... I was surprised that I really liked this movie. I think I wanted to hate it since Ben Affleck directed it. Its about a private detective hired to investigate the case of a missing child in his neighborhood. The P.I. (Affleck) butts heads during his investigation with local cops, neighbors and his girlfriend. REally good thriller that ends with a thought provoking twist that will have you asking what you'd do in that situation.

This is an adorable movie. Everyone should see it, love it, own it. It is a classic. And Rivers Phoenix as a little boy! OMG. I miss that actor.

Speaking of Harrison Ford being cool... Just kidding. But I have to admit that the scene in the first movie when he's teaching and that girl closes her eyes to expose the words "love you" on her eyelids made a kind of sense to me.... Speaking of Harrison Ford being cool... Just kidding. I just saw the last installment of this series and he's lost his sex appeal, but you can go back and find it with the earlier films.

Remember back in the day when children in movies were ugly? What happened? Now kids in movies are little mini models. I hate that. Kids are suppose to be ugly and awkward. Then they blossom. They dance and make pouty sour faces until MARY POPPPPINSSS (Oprah voice) flies into town to sprinkle their lives with magic! This movie is evidence that EVERYONE was high in the 60's.

If you've got a young teen or preteen in the house, this is a great movie for them. A bunch of kids go head to head with monsters including Dracula, Frankenstein and etc. I remember this being full of action and adventure. A tad b...
