I got this last Christmas, but haven't had the time to sit and watch it. I like to watch the entire boxed set if I have one. I'm picky. I cant wait until l I can though. Oh! I'm so excited! It's hilarious that I was cleaning my room and picking up a whole bunch of old movie ticket stubs (I like to keep them) and thinking I've got to figure out a better way to store them. Viola! Perfect timing.

Although I don't own this collection set, I can say i've seen all of the movies. In fact I own many of these films on DVD. In fact I own many of these films on DVD. Kurosawa's films are a favorite among samurai movie watchers, but I often prefer Masaki Kobayashi's darker themes. But that's just me. One suggestion for newcomers to Japanese Samurai cinema; you should check your local library for some of these titles. I worked at a library and they carried most of the same titles. Also I have seen movies I didn't like, even when I expected to like them.
