Embroidered Pleat Skirt
This skirt screams summer to me. Certainly, because it's mainly white you couldn't wear it most of the year, but it's more than that. It's the way it looks like it'll flutter in the summer breeze, the casual embroidery and the big black band. It's simple and yet I can see it just as easily on a day trip to the coast as I can at the nighttime barbecue.

I like this bold red and black top for its styling (hello pleats! i love you!) , sleeves and collar. It's going to be perfect for a skirt and sweater vest all tucked in. But I can also see it being great untucked with jeans.
