This scarf has been dyed in organic henna but its beige color is only slightly darker than the undyed hemp. It measures 63" x 8", not including the 6" fringe. Henna is a small shrub. The dyed I used was a powder and mixed only with water. Hemp is a fiber that is similar to linen. The plain weave highlights the yarn's natural irregularities, which are not flaws but characteristics of this particular hemp yarn. This yarn is organic and manufactured by a no-sweatshop company. Machine wash, gentle, cold water. Machine dry.
