USA 2108 Measures approx. 14" tall by 10" wide. I have priced this one low because there is one crack on the cookie jar on the back side that is shown in the last picture. ____________________________________________________________ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I am helping one of my Local neighbors by selling her cookie jar collection. She is an elderly disabled woman living with her daughter. She has been collecting cookie jars for almost 40 years. Her collection is large and reaches over 600 jars! Due to the size of her daughters home she must let part of her collection go. The money these jars bring will be used twards their medical bills, and cost of living. Help a Person out today. Featuring a light brown wood finish stain, off white glazed sailor hat, and baby blues in the tie. This lovely piece is in wonderful condition. I did a full examination and found no chips or cracks. There is some areas that are small where the paint has worn but that is normal with its age. The one I found listed for 89.00 has major paint wear and spots with a chip. measures approx 11" tall x 9" Estimated Value on this lovely Vintage Collectible is $40.00-$65.00. ____________________________________________________________ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I am helping one of my Local neighbors by selling her cookie jar collection. This is a Vintage California Originals Brown, Green, Orange Turtle Cookie jar from the 1960s in a matte finish. This is a Vintage California Originals Brown, Green, Orange Turtle Cookie jar from the 1960s in a matte finish. Price value on this wonderful turtle is $44.00 - $175.00 Measurements is Approximately: 13" H x 8 1/4" W Turtle is marked with 1635 USA on backside twards the bottom of the turtle. Under the lid it is marked with 2635 There is slight paint wear due to its age. There is also one small chip at the bottom of the lid which is shown in the last picture. The California Originals company began in 1945 as Heirlooms of Tomorrow. Their first products were porcelain lace figurines. A few years later they changed their name to California Originals with the production of pottery artware. The majority of their cookie jars were of animals such as this turtle jar. The main color of the cookies jars were brown with most jars having a matte finish. Most California Original pieces were usually marked with a three or four digit number and USA either somewhere on the rim, the back or near the bottom of the pieces. In 1982 California Originals ceased operations and closed for good. ____________________________________________________________ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I am helping one of my Local neighbors by selling her cookie jar collection.
