More than just a two-man submersible, the Deep Flight Aviator, a 22-foot vessel that can dive to 1,500 feet, represents a unique travel opportunity: a chance to visit regions where no one else has ventured. The winged Aviator resembles a high-performance plane, with thrusters that propel the submersible to a top speed of 10 mph. An acrylic pod allows for clear viewing of the surroundings, and lights can be mounted on the Aviator to illuminate the mysteries of the deep. Before you can claim the Aviator, Deep Flight Submersibles, the company that builds it, will require you to attend its three-day Sub Sea Aviation School. Previous sessions have been held in the Bahamas and in Mexico’s Sea of Cortés. The Aviator, which weighs 4,300 pounds, can be transported via plane or helicopter, and it can be mounted like a tender on a megayacht. Price: Starting at $1.7 million, plus the $15,000 fee to attend the three-day Sub Sea Aviation School. Contact: Deep Flight Submersibles, 415.256.9273

You can get just the shell ($10,000) and use gear you already have. An additional $4,000 gets you a kitchen cabinet, sink, hot water heater, couch, fridge, and table. Really committing to the outdoor life? The $17,000 version comes with a two-burner cooktop, shower, portable toilet, heating or AC, and a bed. Made mostly of aluminum, wood, and steel, the aerodynamic and lightweight trailer can be pulled by a regular car and fits inside a standard garage. We at least like the idea of the Cricket, even if seventeen thou is more than we’ll ever spend for time in the woods.

It will make a fine gift for the outdoorsperson and the urban trekker alike. Also, I've never seen a kid who didn't like a compass, and to have a good-quality one "of my very own!" would be just the thing. I have a compass just like this that was handed down to me from my grandfather. I cherish it.

I group of good friends rallies behind one of them who's going through a dark time (lost her family in an accident). They decide to go on a cave diving expedition like the use to in the old days. However, this time around they run into something sinister and deadly. The fight for their lives begins. If you're claustrophobic and afraid of the dark, don't watch this movie. Or maybe you should. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE ORIGINAL VERSION! The U.S. version has a different ending. Blah.
