I've always thought houndstooth (no matter the scale) was very smart and spiffy. I'd wear this with my knee-high Kenneth Cole boots, polished to a reflective shine.

I love to zip up a warm hoodie under it on colder days, and there's definitely room for tons more layers if I need them. It always looks great with a nice scarf thrown in the mix. Since it layers so well, this coat is going to be a staple for me in falls and winters to come- so versatile.
