This is a cute and unique fried egg to wear all the time... :-) It is handmade by me using the needle felting technique. I used yellow and white wool yarn.. It measures 1 1/5" high by 1" wide. She says, I wash the wool sometimes multiple times, shape it with scissors, sometimes I needle felt, or I knit, or I appropriate someone elses knitting and felt it, or I crochet, and I always remove a lot of fuzz. I observe what the peice wants to be, and then I do my best to support its inclination. I string the works with embroidery thread in multiple passes to strengthen the piece and affect the shape.
