Iittala Mango flatware
Modernism done right: beautiful to behold, balanced in the hand, functional as can be and easy to maintain. After using the same boring flatware for too many years and looking longingly at this in the Museum of Modern Art collection, I gave in. Why didn't I buy it sooner? This is truly a delight to use, and using it at breakfast gets my day of to a better start. Designed in 1971 by Finnish designer Nanny Still, Mango is an icon of modern design.

I don’t know if kids will choose to eat or play with these super hero spoons but it’s certainly worth a try. With bending arms and legs, just like an action figure, eating should be a lot more fun.
