Healthy Sprouts: Frozen Organic Baby Food
Making your own baby food can be a lot of fun, but sometimes it's not practical, given the realities of your life. Just snack on a few of these to fill that sweet & salty void in your stomach. Don't go crazy though, these aren't as healthy as an actual banana.

These are good! They are low in calories too. Just don't eat the whole bag. Dried fruit plus drinking water = expanding dry fruit in the stomach ... Not so comfortable.

Mmmmm ... So much tastier than Goldfish crackers. I can't buy these very often because it's so tempting to snack on them constantly. I like the white cheddar flavor the best.

Wholefoods is a great place to start is you want to kick start your health life. What they do differently than a normal supermarket is that they review every item before deciding to stock that item in their stores. Foods with cert... What they do differently than a normal supermarket is that they review every item before deciding to stock that item in their stores. Foods with certain proceeded ingredients are not sold at wholefoods so it makes it much easier to shop for healthier foods. They have a great meat section too (My personal favorite section) with delicious pre-preped foods that you can just pop in the oven. The caveat is, however, that it is more pricey, but in the long run, your health costs will probably eat up the cost savings you'd get from eating less healthy options. Of course, this is not to say you can't get fat from eating wholefoods foods. If you drink olive oil, it will still make you fat (and probably sick). Any who - they do free store tours at some of the stores so you can check it out and them get a goodie bag at the end. Pretty sweet!

They'll flank the Kinara, which is the candleholder with 7 candles, one per Kwanzaa principle. (phew!) The other fruits and vegetables go in the mazao (basket). Traditional inclusions are pumpkins, squash, bananas and sweet potatoes--and whatever else you like. Since these are seasonal, the LocalHarvest stores should have them available for home delivery, so that you can focus on the rest of your Kwanzaa decorations!

All the flavors are yummy. 70% organic, like trail mix in your hand, only not dry and cakey, like a granola bar, but like true gorp or trail mix in an easy to eat bar. It is slightly gooey, but I find that all the more yummy. I found myself buying them by the case now and eating them as a snack after running or the gym. A really nice way to reward myself for hard work and have also had them as a breakfast substitute and mid day pick me up snack.

Remembering seeeing a recommendation for Green & Black chocolate on ThisNext, I picked up a couple flavors. I didn't find the Maya Gold variety particularly exciting, but my wife agrees with me that the Dark 70% flavor is some of the best chocolate we've tried, and she likes that it's organic.
