Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
This movie restarted the Kung Fun genre here in the States...... see the beauty of Eastern Film making.
This is Wong Kar-Wai, a man with a very distinct vision in his movies. I also love the music and the dresses she wears in this film.
A follow up to "In the Mood for Love", more futuristic. It is different than "In the Mood for Love" in a lot of ways but still compelling and with Wong Kar-Wai you can't go wrong.
A very gritty movie but really good. If violence makes it squeamish, or you don't like subtitles, this movie is not for you
To make this a well rounded list I should have a least one horror movie on here so I'm picking another Korean foreign film that seriously creeped me out, but then again that is not really hard to do
