The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Post-war Fascist repression is at its height in rural Spain and the girl must come to terms with that through a fable of her own. The special effects and the performances, especially by Sergi Lopez as Captain Vidal, are increbbly fantastic. A bit violent but well worth seeing..

Its about a group of prisoners taken to a remote island and trained by the military to assassinate the president of North Korea. All sorts of stuff goes wrong during the psychologically and physically rigorous training that borders on criminal. Even those in charge are pushed to the limits. It all culminates in a deadly insurrection. (based on a true story that occurred in the 70's)
A grizzly and touching Korean War drama about two brothers fighting side by side. An absolute tear jerker.
If you are in the market for straight up revenge, this movie is it. Part of a trilogy of revenge movies including Sympathy for Mr. Vengence, and Lady Vengence, Oldboy is my personal favorite.
