This kit comes with tulips, daisies, bluebells, and even a few butterflies to flutter around your spring flowers. The stems are apple green and include a shamrock for those that want a bit of the luck ‘o the Irish thrown in. The flowers come in your choice of blue, red, or pink and you can even mix and match the flowers—your choice. For those that don’t specify a flower color, they will toss in whatever color is plentiful at the moment. The stems measure 8” overall, and the design itself can extend further depending on the butterfly placement. At the very least you’ll have plenty of extra flowers for practice before you’re done. The best part is that it free and automatically included with every design ordered between now and the time they decide to create a new promotional item.

Kids can practice fine motor skills, learn about other cultures, and be occupied for HOURS with these insanely detailed & free to download paper folding kits. The site is in Japanese, but don't be put off- just click on the link you want and choose the button that has PDF somewhere in it. Just remember that Japan uses A4 size paper so you may have to adjust the print settings a bit. Suitable for kids 8+ - some parental help may be needed as instructions are in Japanese-- but it's a good way for them to practice problem solving, too!
