Remember The Milk

Remember The Milk

I'm an author and a mom of four. Before I found Remember the Milk (a free online organizer that allows you to have as many to do lists as you want), my to do list system consisted of a million post-it-notes and notes on napkins stuffed in my purse, stuck to my laptop, and missing in action in my life. Now I can email tasks to myself as I think of them and they land in one place -- in Remember the Milk. I can even email tasks on to my husband (let me tell you he lives for those emails from me) or to my office assistant (ditto). This is the coolest online organizer ever, and it can quickly be configured to work with David Allen's Getting Things Done system if, like me, you're a GTD devote. I've written about Remember the Milk (http://www.rmilk.com for short) in magazine columns and on blogs galore and I'm not done spreading the word yet.

Accessible anytime, anywhere! Or buy new songs for a buck each. *Extra Info: One of the coolest things to happen to online music since the introduction of iTunes. Lala is a web based music service that allows users to either listen to their libraries through a browser or download non-DRM tracks for wherever listening. You can listen to any track or album once through for free, after that it costs just 10 cents to listen to a track unlimited through a browser or 89 cents to download it for fair use. If that's not a big enough draw, each new account gets 50 free tracks and Lala offers an application that will scan your existing music library and add any track that you already own to your Lala. With over 6 million tracks available, it's completely changing the way that cool kids consume music at the office.

Noah is the first application to free your information from the separate "data islands" of your browser, email client, contact manager, file folders, schedule and RSS feeds. Noah bridges these currently divided data sources and makes it all accessible from a single interface. And your data is always available, online or offline. Emails, website bookmarks, desktop files, contacts, it's all in there somewhere. But how do you dig through the thousands of ad-mails and spam-mails to find that really important one from your client, or your boss. Remember that Word document you prepared for him? Where did you put it? In Noah you never have to spend hours searching for this stuff again, it's all in one place arranged by date and time. If you can roughly remember when something happened, you can find it with a few clicks, and you will find everything else that was happening during the same day, hour, or minute. Because Noah arranges all of your information automatically, exactly the way you want it. Import email settings, emails and contacts from Outlook and Thunderbird plus there's automatic setup for Gmail, Lycos, Yahoo, Netscape, Mail.com, and Tiscali email accounts. Setting up Noah is a breeze with the setup wizard. Importing or setting up an account can be completed with a few clicks, and there's no limit to the number of accounts that you can setup at the same time. Want to keep thousands of emails from all of your email accounts neatly arranged in Noah? No problem, that's what it was designed for, and with it's powerful database and fast interface even very large numbers of emails can be organized and accessed in a flash. Even though Noah contains more advanced data management features then any similar application, it doesn't require a computer science degree to use it. Noah has a simple, intuitive, interface with easy to find commands - drag, drop, done!
