I was hoping this year I could go hunting and bag my own turkey, riding myself of the guilt of contributing to poultry farms, but that may not be likely. I won't give up. If you can, fresh herbs are a must. If you have to, I recommend growing fresh thyme, rosemary, and basil in your apartment. Its simple, easy, fun and the pay off is tremendous. It also will save you money at the grocery.
I always use parsley in my spaghetti sauce. I also use it in my holiday cornbread stuffing.
