This cool lounge chair - the Scandia Nett Lounge Chair - was designed by Norwegian Hans Brattrud in 1957. Hans Brattrud has kindly given the Norwegian company fjordfiesta.furniture the opportunity to once again manufacture these beautiful piece of furniture, the Scandia lounge chair. It is made of laminated lacqured wood in american walnut or american oak with a satin chrome steel bolt base.

Can I still trust my eyes? The coffee table consists of two discs, of which the upper one seems to float. The space between the discs offers a huge amount of storage room, so the table top itself can stay clutter free.

During the last 16 years shelfes of this design moved with us through several countries, disassembled and reassembled and they still work well and look good! (if one likes this technical look)

For many years now the coolest furniture of Germany comes from a company called Nils Hoger Moormann. They are situated in Aschau near Rosenheim (near Munich) in southern Bavaria. They are situated in Aschau near Rosenheim (near Munich) in southern Bavaria. Check out their web site or visit them there - you won't be dissappointed! Their office is in an old farmhouse and the showroom is in the stable. That might sound a bit dodgy but it is done with a lot more taste than many of the big name brands have put together.
