Gently scrub and then leave it on for a minute. In that time, this enzyme scrub will break down dried skin and whatever else you've got that's affecting your complexion. I use it once or twice a week. This last time around, the discoloration of blemish scars faded a little. The only criticism is that it's pricey, but it's a quality product.
