This is definitely one of my favorites. And it has a story to go with it. :) When I was fifteen, me and my very best friend, a guy I had met in high school, Jesse, went to the local movie theater. We had no idea what was playing we just wanted to see something. One of the theater screens is located outside the theater down the alley right next to it. We snuck into this theater since it was the easiest to access, lol. And this movie was playing! We looked around in the light of the movie screen and saw only a very few people sitting, watching the movie. And they were all Old. Like over sixty old. We just kinda laughed it off, took a few seats in the back and Tried to watch the movie. Key word, Tried. Once Jesse saw the theme of the movie......old world, turn of the century, guys wearing what looked like tights to him, he wasn't havin' it, lol. He sat back there mocking everyone in the movie, because of their British accents and proper grammar. lol. Kids. Anyway, an old man sitting in front of us turned and started yelling at ......well, us even thought I wasn't saying anything, lol. He really wasn't very nice, lol, and we ended up running out of the movie theater laughing at him. Haha, no harm intended, just fun and games. lol. So yeah, I saw it on tv one night, remembered our little escapade and decided to turn it on. And I actually loved the movie, lol. Two sisters trying to find their match. While being infatuated, loved, victimized, and led astray. The story of my life. Hell, the story of any woman's life. Beautiful settings, beautiful script, and a beautiful story. One htat personally has me hooked on Jane Austen.

So where does a band go after releasing the most defiantly experimental record of its career? If you're the Flaming Lips, you keep rushing headlong into the unknown -- The Soft Bulletin, their follow-up to the four-disc gambit Zaireeka, is in many ways their most daring work yet, a plaintively emotional, lushly symphonic pop masterpiece eons removed from the mind-warping noise of their past efforts. Though more conventional in concept and scope than Zaireeka, The Soft Bulletin clearly reflects its predecessor's expansive sonic palette. Its multidimensional sound is positively celestial, a shape-shifting pastiche of blissful melodies,… more »

  • I love this film. It's truly a classic that all children (and adults) must see.
