Now I'm not typically a huge fan of boxers on boys (too loose! too unsexy!), BUT these organic, hemp boxers from Rawganique are just too green to go unnoticed. Super soft and comfortable, elastic-free (with a little drawstring), and come in a bunch of cool colors. I'll make an exception just this once!

Unfortunately, it is a mid-to-high range product, so it has to be reserved for special occasions or until the day I have more money than Bill Gates. I got the Complete Skin Cleanse pack as a present, along with the face cream (because that isn't in the pack). The Cleansing Mousse is amazing! Cleans the skin without drying it out (may not be a product for those with oily skin) and the cream is pretty good but you do need to keep re-applying but that might be because I have the wrong cream for my skin type. The toner, while good is incredibly drying but the ingredients are for people with oily skin so my review would be unfair. All in all good products, but a little too expensive so this would be more of a gift than a permanent fixture.

An "all natural aboriginal" skincare range that was amongst the first of the presents I tried this year (but only found the website just now) -- it was a huge hamper. There are 6 categories in the range: bath & body; mom & baby; face; lips; equine and first-aid. I have products from their bath & body, face and lips range because I am not a mother and I don't own a horse. I haven't used the bath eggs (which actually look like eggs) but I have used the Mojito Body Polish, Hand Candy (that smells like mint and chocolates -- small bon bons that are hand moisturises basically), cuticle cream and the body souffle (which smells like dark chocolate and peppermint -- it's like smothering my self in After 8 mints). They also have a powder but I have never figured out what they are for (unless you include the countless tips I've read about how it's good for giving greasy hair a boost and minimising the oil). I also have the face collection but I haven't used any of those products yet; it includes a face polish, cleanser, creme and mask (though I can't wait to try them out though). I love the lip care range too -- the lip balm smells fantastic and I love the lip scrubs as well. This price range is in the medium band range, so it's much better as a present rather than regular-use products. The other awesome thing about these products are the names, the packaging and the look of the content (especially the Hand Candy). So this goes in my list of Giftsets!

Yay for another UK natural and organic skin care company (though all of them seem to be short on moisturisers and creams). The company has a huge bath range ranging from shampoo, body washes, body balms, organic and glycerine soaps as well as bath bombs, bath fizzes and salts and other accessories like body brushes and reusable bags. They have an incredible collection of scents and while I do like these products, they are more appropriate as gifts than regular use. At least for me. The price range is in the medium band and I am not sure if they ship internationally!

This image does little justice to the gorgeous olive green sheets, smooth and soft, that welcome my tired little spirit back to bed. The beautiful thing about these sheets is that they are made of a sustainable, bamboo product called Modal. They feel divine, save the world, and come in killer colors! At $79 for Queen, $99 for King, these amazing BBB (bed bath and beyond! I know!) sheets are the perfect housewarming, wedding, going away to school gift for your favorite hedonist. :)

In the past, people made their own soap from animal fats and wood ashes. Now there are emerging soap makers like Destiny Boutique who make their all natural soaps from a long list of skin healing vedgetable oils such as olive, palm, coconut, soy, shea butter, argan oil, herbs, botanicals and essential oils. The reason these soaps are so great is because they actually moisturize your skin instead of stripping off the epidermis. Destiny Boutique's soaps are cold processed meaning the naturally occuring glycerin is left intact whereas many other soap companies choose to remove the glycerin that occurs during the soapmaking and sell it to the lotion industry. No wonder many "milled" and highly processed bars feel drying to the skin. Today there are very few true soaps in the traditional sense on the market. Most body cleansers on the market today are synthetic detergent products under the jurisdiction of FDA. True soaps are regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, not FDA, and do not require ingredient labeling. Some companies, mostly Signers of Safe Cosmetics like Destiny Boutique, chose to list their ingredients for consumers' review regardless if they are required by law or not. I have been using Destiny Boutique's soaps for one year. As a result I do not need any lotions anymore (well sunblock is needed). I used to have a problem skin with eczema and issues with rashes and dry skin. What a turnaround I had! No more flaky skin, no more itchy anything, no more problems. If you buy the soap, you will save in lotion money since after a while you will not need additional moisturizers. Besides most of the lotions in the market contain parabens anyways. Why would you want to put that stuff in your body?
