Charlie's Soap - Laundry Powder

Charlie's Soap - Laundry Powder

I love this stuff. We originally bought it to clean baby clothes and cloth diapers, but we soon found it is great on everything - plus it's very cost-effective (you only need a tablespoon for a large load). There are no perfumes or dyes, and we haven't even needed fabric softener since it gets everything so clean.

Look for it at your local store, as they MAY carry it. They tout that the bottle is #1 recyclable plastic, but most cleaners are.

No more plastic cups, utensils, or paper plates for you. Make sure to set up recycle bins at your camp. One each for glass, aluminum, paper, and plastic. When you leave Burningman, there are recycling companies that take your sorted recyclables off of your hands. (If they're not sorted, they go in the trash, so be sure to sort!) Then, use these plates and dinnerware, rinse as well as u can, and place in the paper recycle bin. Voila!
