I like how envelope-like this is. I know that the manilla inter-office envelope is deeply associated with the MacBook Air, but I think stationery-themed accessories would work well for the iPad too.

It's easy to pick up and slip into my work bag and take home if I need it there or into a suitcase if I'm traveling. I wanted something compact, and this is not a large system, but it takes up more surface area that I expected. I don't need it to play very loudly, but it sounds good on my desktop. It also charges my iPod as it plays (as long as the unit is plugged in) and comes with a handy remote.

I can' imagine how, when, where or who would actually use this. It seems so impractical, but at the same time so genius. I mean, I friggin' love karaoke -- not by me, but by my friends. This is could a greta gift for one of them.
