Ex Hex by Mary Timony

Mary Timony is maybe my favorite musician of all time. I've seen her play live too many times to count, but I'm guessing I've been to about 20 shows since first seeing her ex-band Helium open up for Sonic Youth in 1996. This is the most garagey, stompiest, hardest stuff she's ever done, but it still has lots of pretty guitar melodies and lyrics that sound like they're straight from some weirdo storybook.
