At first glance, this movie seems like a write off. Well its actually good. By 'good' I don't mean cinematic masterpiece. The movie is a real time narrative about a guy (Depp) who gets tangled up in an assassination plot of a political figure. Christopher Walken plays the goon thats holding Depp's daughter hostage. If he doesn't kill the politico, his cute lil daughter gets it. yikes.

In my opinion, this is Kevin Costner's best movie. It's a classic crime film with everything you'd expect and want: organized crime, gangsters, cops and people getting whacked.
