Just Breathe by CB I Hate Perfume

the scoop Christopher created this scent as a reminder of the importance of escaping from the rigors and stresses we put on ourselves…to stop all the rushing around and Just Breathe. Just take a moment, close your eyes and breathe in the gentle hints of bamboo leaves, Japanese green tea, wisps of cedar and a hint of incense and you’re transported to a land of serene, to a Buddhist temple set deep in a fresh, green forest. Contemplative and serene, Just Breathe doesn’t smell exactly like any one of its ingredients but rather a harmonious blend of all, a meditative fragrance designed to slow things down and take a moment to soak in the beauty of life. Just Breathe notes Bamboo Leaves, Japanese Green Tea, three varieties of Cedarwood, forest and just the merest hint of Incense.

In The Library is a subtle scent, and it’s not so much the exact recreation of the musty, antique smell of the pages of old book as much as it is the entire book…a hint of worn leather bindings, a whisper of the frayed cloth and the wisp of wood polish from the shelves it sits on and even a bit of sweetness we can’t place. In The Library is comforting and warm with soft, worn edges and no single obvious note…it never screams musty old parchment or crisp new leather, it’s more like a faint memory rolling around in your mind and inspiring you to dream of a long afternoon in an old leather chair curled up with a novel. Its inspiration was an old, signed first-edition book that Christopher found one lucky afternoon in London. In The Library notes English Novel, Russian and Moroccan leather bindings, worn cloth and a hint of wood polish.
