I've been waiting for this for awhile now. I'll have to wait a little longer since this horror remake won't be coming out until November of 2009. Its stars Benecio Del Toro as the Wolfman.

This movie is so ouch. I mean, I knew things were going to be bad going into this movie. And of course it gets worse and worse and worse until you're left broken with all hope in humanity lost. But I guess thats not just the movie... This movie is so ouch. I mean, I knew things were going to be bad going into this movie. And of course it gets worse and worse and worse until you're left broken with all hope in humanity lost. But I guess thats not just the movie but the story of what happened to Brandon Teena, a trangender F to M who was murdered in some podunk town. So if we can divorce the movie from its relation (as accurate or inaccurate as it is) to the actual events and just critic the film, I would say this is a damn good movie. Although Hollywood couldn't bring itself to cast an actual transgender man, I have to say Hilary Swank did a great job. And somebody needs to tell Ms. Swank no matter how many movies she's in where they kill her off, that doesn't guarantee an Oscar.
