SIGG Sportbottle

SIGG Sportbottle

The Sigg company keeps coming up with more and more fabulous, fun designs! This one in blue and green called the Earth Sigg Water Bottle is really big, like 33 oz. big! By filtering my own water and filling up a Sigg instead of purchasing water in a plastic bottle, I'm not only saving myself money, I'm helping to save the environment!

  • An ancient Ayurvedic practice, scraping your tongue gets rid of far more bacteria and odor-causing debris than brushing alone. This one from Preserve is (you guessed it!) 100% recyclable and made from 100% recycled materials.

It was much tastier than I expected. By them by the bag as there are many uses for the fruit. *** The poor fruits and vegetables of the world! They cannot reinvent themselves like processed foods... so marketing is tricky. Good thing you can ALWAYS count on them!

I was fond of some of the recipes and not so fond of others, but it provides enough information to allow you to understand the process. I also appreciated the emphasis on skin care and relaxation.

I'm inclined to try to build one myself, which I could do, but I probably would never get around to it. What's more functional than art, decor and a means to breath!

How totally cool (like, really!) I love my iced tea, so I follow my dentist's advice in drinking those staining liquids through a straw so the front of my teeth don't suffer the consequences....AND......believe it or not........straws have been a major issue with the waste and the way I reuse the same ones at home. Not sure anything qualifies as functional art as much as this! Some may not consider this to be a NEED, but it is for me!! Super strong glass Used with cold or hot liquids (hot?) That hump in the handle........melts right into your palm. And the medium brush is more like soft, which my dentist recommended. Overall: Happy "Replaceable head toothbrush with renewable resource handle. Wood Fiber blended with PLA, a plastic derived entirely from Nebraska maize. The resulting material is 100% renewal resource." It is kind of silly that we must throw away an entire toothbrush. I'm not sure how much impact this would have, but it states something about how one prefers to live.

I've been seeing reports that essential oils kill microorganisms. What are microorganisms? They can range from the yeast that cause athlete's foot to MRSA (staph infection that "eats" the skin - 3 of my relatives went into hospital for this). I've come across a couple scientific studies that used clove and rosemary and they both killed (either immediately or over time) the microbes, but I would be curious to read more. Anyhoo...this apparatus (not paraphernalia) is supposed to be a supremely quality device in diffusing the oils. Plastic parts can contaminate the oil, so this has none! It is stressed that high quality oils are a must, not the ones at the dollar store. I've NEVER used Lysol and never will. It pollutes indoor air and slowly deadens sense of smell, this is may be at the top of my list.

I can't put it any better, so this is what they say. "Slow Food is good, clean and fair food. We believe that the food we eat should taste good; that it should be produced in a clean way that does not harm the environment, animal welfare or our health; and that food producers should receive fair compensation for their work. We consider ourselves co-producers, not consumers, because by being informed about how our food is produced and actively supporting those who produce it, we become a part of and a partner in the production process."

They looks great and are so incredibly practical - I couldn't have designed them better myself! They don't miss a beat with their gym bag: it has a big side pocket that holds a 1L water bottle, a separate compartment for your dirty gym clothes with an airy mesh ventilation system that keeps your clean clothes looking and smelling fresh, and get this: a removable shower caddy for you to keep your toiletries in that easily transports from your bag into the shower. Genius, I tell you. Plus, it has straps for your yoga mat on the side of the mat, unlike some bags where it straps on to the underneath so you can't set your bag down. And of course, the essential zippered pocket for keys, wallets, cell phone, etc. Can you think of anything they left out? Cus I surely can't. Comes in black and blue.
