Cole Haan Thea Pump (Dark Amber)
I've never done Halloween like most people do. Last year I was a pilgrim. Yes, I know people are supposed to get in touch with their inner slut. Not me though. I covered myself up, long dress, apron, starched cuffs and a bonnet. Even my shoes were conservative. I saw this buckle and thought, pilgrim shoes! Thankfully the dark amber pumps are better than that and can be worn with a multitude of autumnal outfits.

Buckles are where it's at for Fall 09 footwear. These boots have a lower heel which will make them practical for work and class. However, they are definitely cute enough to wear out and about.

A basic brown t strap like this might be a good contender for my next pair of brown shoes. They look pretty ...
