Harman Kardon AVR-645 Home Theater Receiver

Harman Kardon AVR-645 Home Theater Receiver

Good receiver for building up a serious home theater. The pre outs make it easy to add amps, so you can gradually migrate off the already very good built-in power section of the receiver. Get the receiver, get good speakers, get some heavy-duty amps, and by the time you need to replace this receiver, some totally new video tech will have come along and we'll all be listening to 14.4 sound.

It's got great, full sound & is small enough that it blends in below my 40" Sony Bravia flat-panel HDTV. Makes the movie watching experience so much richer without needing to get a whole 5.1 speaker system which I'd prefer for my bedroom but don't have the room for. Plus, Aperion Audio has great customer support if you need any help, which you shouldn't cuz it's really easy to set up.

You've snagged some wireless headphones, but your Stereo doesn't transmit sound wirelessly. What to do, what to do? Sony's Two-Way Bluetooth adapter is the gods answer to this dilemma. Being two way, it allow you to do 2 things: 1. Transmit ANY sound source (and I mean anything with a headphone jack or RCA cables) wirelessly or 2. Receive any bluetooth sound source through any speaker/headphone/stereo you plug into it. Let's give some practical examples. Hook it up to your PC, and now you can blast your iTunes library wirelessly to your bluetooth headphones, or even your cell phone. Flip the switch, and play any songs on your mobile through your PC (or Stereo). If you ever have a need to send or receive audio wirelessly, this little wonder from Sony does the trick. Some Pros: -2 mode operation, send + receive, easily changed with a switch on the back -Included stand, and easy to read LED indicators -Nice blue color as opposed to gadget black Some Cons: -It always need to be plugged in. So while using this to convert your regular earphones to bluetooth capable ones is feasible, it;s not fun. - The manual is, shall we say, classic Sony, but you'll figure it out within minutes. A handy tool to have around and one that may just solve your wireless audio needs. $50.
