Sony Platinum DVD Dream System DAV-LF1H

Sony Platinum DVD Dream System DAV-LF1H

Wireless rear speakers (that really do work!) make this truly a dream home theater system for anyone who doesn't want to go to the trouble of massive wiring issues. For someone like me who prefers to rent and remain mobile, this system makes set up in your digs easy as pie. I've owned this system for about a year now and loving its performance. I was considering do a more extensive home theater solution, but since I was renting, I was hesitant to go through the trouble of wiring someone else's house. And, who was to know that I was going to get the boot (because the owner wanted to move back in) just a few months later. Well, boy was I happy I had this system. It took me all of 30 minutes to set it up in the pad. Even if you own, not having to worry about wires from the TV, through the living room and behind your seating area, is a major benefit. And don't worry about the quality of the sound or wireless transmission (IR)... they are both excellent.

You've snagged some wireless headphones, but your Stereo doesn't transmit sound wirelessly. What to do, what to do? Sony's Two-Way Bluetooth adapter is the gods answer to this dilemma. Being two way, it allow you to do 2 things: 1. Transmit ANY sound source (and I mean anything with a headphone jack or RCA cables) wirelessly or 2. Receive any bluetooth sound source through any speaker/headphone/stereo you plug into it. Let's give some practical examples. Hook it up to your PC, and now you can blast your iTunes library wirelessly to your bluetooth headphones, or even your cell phone. Flip the switch, and play any songs on your mobile through your PC (or Stereo). If you ever have a need to send or receive audio wirelessly, this little wonder from Sony does the trick. Some Pros: -2 mode operation, send + receive, easily changed with a switch on the back -Included stand, and easy to read LED indicators -Nice blue color as opposed to gadget black Some Cons: -It always need to be plugged in. So while using this to convert your regular earphones to bluetooth capable ones is feasible, it;s not fun. - The manual is, shall we say, classic Sony, but you'll figure it out within minutes. A handy tool to have around and one that may just solve your wireless audio needs. $50.
