Honda ASIMO
ASIMO Humanoid Robot is probably the most advanced robot available today. Sadly it's not available for hom use, yet, but if it did, it would probably cost the same as an exclusive italian sportscar (or the URWERK 103.5 watch) which would put it out of most people's price range. Looking a bit like a teenage runaway with its little backpack,ASIMO just found a job as a greeter at Disneyland, to help pay for his R&D costs. Honda as also shown that it can carry coffee cups, which means he could work at Starbuck's as soon as someone shows him how to work the expresso machine. Honda also has a fantastic site showing the evolution of their humanoid robots from the early research to the current model Asimo. From the first E0 (Experimental Model Zero) bipedal locomotion prototype built in 1986, Honda has been steadily making progress in its robotic research unit, with the first automomous robots appearing in 1991, until the current production model ASIMO which first appeared in 2000 and continues to be refined. I love the fact that some of the earlier prototype look like they escaped from a deranged Star Wars droid factory. Is this a case of reality being inspired by fiction, or the other way around? Most of Honda's cars are not usually sexy. Usually your buying one for reliability, gas milage, or because there is a huge aftermarket world for making them sexy whille keeping the reliability and gas milage. The new Accord is sexy as ever. If you see one on the road, and just glance at it, you can barely tell it's an accord, or Honda for that matter. The entire interior and exterior has been re-designed. It's been fitted with a new continuously variable transmission. which has no fixed gear ratios. Instead, you have one gear that keeps the engine running at its optimum revolutions per minute relative to the speed of the vehicle while also getting better fuel economy. Honda added chrome all around the car, I wish they would have added cooler wheels though. An 8" color screen(standard on all models) has been added to the dash, and the cabin has noise cancellation, so you can't hear every crack in the road. It's also been fitted with new safety features like LaneWatch, and Collision Warning. Both the coupe, and sedan have been redone, and I think this car has finally made it to luxury status. I wonder how many Acura owners, will move over to this car.

This is the first hydrogen car in production. If you live in Los Angeles, you can get one for $600 per month. I am trying to get one now. They average 75 mpg, and run for 278miles per refilling.

I became a writer in that moment. If I ever needed to run away he would protect me. I would love to revisit that world. I’ve seen humanoid robots with amazing articulation. Oh, the thought of owning one.

Just an FYI: There is no such thing as a 2007 Rune. They have not been produced since 2004. There are hundreds of these bikes sitting in Honda's warehouses all over the country collecting dust. This car is smokin' hot. 240hp under the hood, two seats, and razor-sharp handling make this an awesome weekend car or a killer daily driver. It's not very practical, but hey, isn't that part of the charm?

I've had it since Jan. 2004 and have had no issues with it. I love this car. I drive a lot (I live in San Jose and work in San Francisco, so that is 50 miles each way. Also here in the SF bay area gas prices are the highest in the country. This car makes that fact not so painful. Also a huge plus, since I live in CA is I was able to get stickers so I can drive in the carpool lane! I'm helping the environment, saving money and get to drive in the carpool lane. What else could you ask for? Well....a chauffeur would be nice! hehehehehe!
