A few years ago I took a second glance at the movie "To Sir, with Love" and was happy to discover the movie is peppered with cool music by Manchester beat group The Mindbenders. Afterwards I went on a music quest for the same sor... A few years ago I took a second glance at the movie "To Sir, with Love" and was happy to discover the movie is peppered with cool music by Manchester beat group The Mindbenders. Afterwards I went on a music quest for the same sort of sound, I soon entered the world of '60 Garage Punk, and among the nuggets electrified teenage kicks stood The Seeds. Colored in a Blues Psychedelic sound The Seeds have a much harder edge than The Mindbenders, and that worked for me. The Seeds remain one of my favorite bands from this period.
