Estimated Value on this lovely Vintage Collectible is between $30.00-$94.00 depending on its condition. Its in Excellent condition with no nicks chips, or cracks. There is some slight crazing in the glaze but that is normal with its age. Measures approx 10" tall X 6"1/2 wide. Shipping is based on other cookie jars sold and shipped. There is 4 Crazing marks under the glaze but is normal for its age. Measures approx. 10 1/2" tall X 9" wide. THIS IS NOT THE REPRODUCTION MADE IN JAPAN! I have not been able to find out which company produced this jar as it is unmarked. I am marking this lovely Cookie Jar as rare as I cannot seem to locate another in its exact design. The only ones I am finding is the Reproductions. There is several of these jars that was made in the 1940s-1950s in Japan. They are engraved JAPAN on the bottom. The last picture I provided for you is one from Japan. you can see the differences from this one and the reproduction. These are the differences between the two. The eyes on this jar is different from the eyes on the reproduction. The Reproduction also has blue and yellow in them as well, and this monkey does not. Plus of course they are engraved with Japan and there is no makers mark on this piece. A lot of the American made company's during this time period did not always mark their pieces. I am assuming this piece is from the 1930s-1940s Prior to Japans Reproduction. I adore my two soap dispensers by montezumamudd. I have one in the bathroom, one in the kitchen and I buy liquid hand soap in bulk. They not only look beautiful by my sinks, they limit the amount of waste I'd be creating if I bought disposable hand soap. The best part is, I can put the ceramic vessel AND the pump in the dishwasher to get them sparkly clean and ready for a refill. I love this particular set and can envision a pretty decorative bar of soap (purchased on Etsy, of course!) in the soap dish.
