IKEA SULTAN HEIDAL mattress
Shopping for a mattress feels like an exercise in racketeering. I don't know why, but the mattress market is full of shady sales people and dodgy stores who seem intent on preventing you from making an informed, comparative, rational decision. Skip all the hassle and just go to Ikea. The Sultan spring mattress is reasonably priced and is the most comfortable bed I've ever had.

In a simpler daybed, this frame won't take up a lot of extra room and won't bog down a room. Plus, I could see a pretty little wrought iron theme here.

I'm on a daybed kick...why? well, daybeds do that nice expansion of guests you can sleep without devoting another room to a bedroom (in this case it'll be a library). I'm thinking this daybed with it's storage drawers (yay!) and ... A cute, perfectly-sized nightstand for an alarm clock, books, or whatever else needs to be on hand. And at $20, you can't say no.

Dorm mattresses can be a little uncomfortable so a mattress pad is a must.

A futon is always a solid seating option. It functions as a bed and a chair, the best of both worlds.

Oh how I love this design! Now that we're renovating and redecorating our family room we're on the hunt for a sofa bed. This takes up very little space, is definitely affordable, and the new cover would be perfect for the colou... Oh how I love this design! Of course this cover can be easily interchanged, but I wouldn't mind using this one for a long time.

I like the curved, planked headboard on this Hopen frame. The bed is very modern-looking and quite affordable at $249. It has side adjustments that allow the mattress to be set at different heights.

I just bought this bed for myself, isn't it fantastic? I've been drooling over more expensive but similar ones for months now...$300 bucks and real wood! You've got to love IKEA. If your looking for a modern sleek bunk bed set, this is the one for you. This even comes apart into two twin beds as well. Very cool!

*sigh* Oh Ikea... This is so not available online and the store opening up close to me is not due for another year or so, but I still sweat this sofa bed anyway. How do they do it? OK so this isn't ground breaking but the price is £47 you can do the conversions to your currency and it's still for nothing. Cover it in vintage throws and cushions and you will have a great looking daybed.
