Best feature: heavy base and very long arm. This lets me direct light where I need it while having the lamp set out of the way on the back of the desk (good 20-30 inch horizontal stretch). The look of this desk lamp reminds me of one my grandfather had back in the day.

It's only $19.99 at IKEA. I ended up getting a cheap curtain at target with a similar texture and making my own shade when my cats shredded the paper one.

We used a stencil of numbers to keep them organized, and re-purposed the wall paint color to stencil the numbers on the boxes. It's really fun and such a great way to keep track of all the... well... stuff of design. :)

Ok... Cheap Alert. These are so cheap it's insane. Ikea, of course. The best thing about these is that they are sturdy cardboard, so you can do whatever you want to them. You can use masking tape and tape off a striped area on them for a more traditional look, and use a sharpie and write on them afterward. I've also used stencils of numbers and numbered and lettered them. You can also paper them with scrapbook paper, or newspaper. If you're like me, and your magazine collection is creeping into every room, these are for you!

These are the best. Put them together with wood glue and you will have a much stronger box. They go great inside the Expedit bookcase!

Only 34 dollars and very similar to another 700 dollar table by Kasper Salto from Design Within Reach. This table is great for working on your computer while on the sofa. I would have backaches without it.
