The Inflatable 14 Foot Catamaran

The Inflatable 14 Foot Catamaran

This is the 14' long inflatable catamaran that sets up in just 20 minutes. Its drift-optimized dual hull design provides superior sailing characteristics that allow easy maneuvering by beginners or more advanced, one-hull sailing by more experienced "catters." The two inflatable hulls are made from fabric-reinforced PVC with extra material in stress areas. The 64 1/2' sq. Dacron mainsail--the same material used by larger nautical vessels--attaches to the anodized aluminum mast and boom for quick, easy set up. The sail is reinforced with four battens that keep it taut during gusts. Its 47 1/4' sq. Dacron jib affixes to the bowsprit and provides precise tacking. Fore and aft centerboards steer the craft. No tools are required to assembly; sturdy screw shackles, tensioning ropes, and other fittings clip, snap, and join all of its components. The craft breaks down in 10 minutes into two 44 lb., 6' long x 1' diam. bags that easily fit into a SUV's trunk for easy transport. Includes air pump. Supports up to 996 lbs. 14" L x 7' 2 1/2" W x 19' 10" H. (92 1/2 lbs.) $6,000
